Our Story
Southern Purr Cafe was founded by a husband-and-wife team with deep roots in Fort Bend County and a shared love of animals and community.
As lifelong residents, first responders, a military veteran, animal fosters and adopters, we've experienced firsthand the unique bond between people and animals.
We've also experienced the demands and stresses that can come with serving others.
Those experiences inspired a question:
Could we create a place that brings together great coffee, meaningful human-animal connection, and a mission that benefits our community?
Southern Purr Cafe is our answer.
We're working to create a destination where people can relax, connect, and enjoy the company of cats — while helping those cats move one step closer to finding home.
